As HR Partner for the Americas, I provide full employee life cycle solutions for Victrex Americas employees across 16 states including 2 manufacturing facilities as well as office and remote staff. The role spans from application to resignation and everything in between, with focus on culture, morale, and employee engagement, as well as strategic imparities such as succession planning, performance management, and resource planning. This also includes the implementation of the organization’s HR Global People strategy, ensuring proper fit within local regulations, laws, and employment standards. While supporting employees based in America, I work closely with both Americas-based and global stakeholders across our strategic business units (medical, aerospace, automotive, energy and electronics) as well as across all business functions; sales, marketing, technology, manufacturing, and supporting functions. In the past 6 months I have also added additional responsibility covering the Global Marketing function in the same capacity. Key achievements during this time include a nearly 50% employee expansion of one of our acquired US businesses, all through direct recruitment; leadership of the US Employee Engagement Forum; driving of policy redesign and adoption to a globalized approach; as well as peer nominations for 1 individual (2019) and 4 team (2019, 2019, 2020, 2023) CEO Award nominations.

My career with Victrex began as a HR Generalist for the Americas, providing full life cycle support of all Victrex Americas employees and their global managers. A primary focus upon joining was the improvement of team morale and engagement, where I used my communications experience and peer approach to help drive the Americas engagement score from the lowest globally, to the highest. During this period, I supported the acquisition and assimilation a business into our team, which included the development and roll out of a new handbook, assimilation of employee benefits, and transition to reward and performance management structures. In addition, I also provided cover as HR Business Partner for the global Marketing function, helping to develop and implement 5 sub-functional technical competency frameworks and corresponding role ladders.

My role at ZS Associates operated in the generalist capacity where I managed employees from our 5 East Coast offices in Boston MD; New York NY; Philadelphia PA; Toronto ON; and Princeton NJ. My responsibilities included general HR support in employee transitions, performance management support, internal communications, employee relations, culture and engagement, leaves of absence, compliance, and policy management. Key processes included employee integration, from accepted offer through first month of employment and beyond, scheduling of orientation procedures and training, as well as the employee exit process. Other ad-hoc HR projects included headcount reporting and other internal reports to senior leaders.
