Roles & Responsibilities:- Underwent vocational training as a Military Policeman (MP) after Basic Military Training (BMT) and thereafter performed access control duties at Singapore's Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) complex during National Service (NS)- Achieved Marksmanship for Combat Shoot (CS) in second year of NS- Promoted to pinnacle rank of Corporal First Class (CFC) in July 2021 for recognition of outstanding service to Gombak Base

Roles & Responsibilities:- Handled office/cattery up-keeping such as purchasing of stationery supply, cattery maintenance items etc.- Sourced for purchases quotation, prepared table of comparisons and submitted them for approval from the Management Team- Liaised with contractors for maintenance of equipment and premises, i.e. air conditioning, equipment repairs etc.- Organised and maintained files and records- Prepared paperwork for sales- Engaged in marketing strategies like writing informative blogs, Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) and social media platform campaigns to increase consumer awareness and attract a wider customer base to Playground Ragdolls- Performed any other ad-hoc duties, administrative works and responsibilities as assigned by the Management Team

Roles & Responsibilities:- Contacted and communicated competently over telephone with potential clients pertaining to their current products (insurance premiums) in broker firm- Facilitated upgrading and upselling of clients' insurance premiums by explaining benefits of doing so thoroughly, precisely and swiftly over telephone, as well as necessary forms to be sent over and scheduling of physical appointments for follow-up action

This internship was a month-long programme where I shadowed medical professionals in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, which is integrated under the National University Health System (NUHS), as they went about their daily jobs. I was given great exposure to their job scope and a good impression of what to expect if I were to enter medical school or even a healthcare-related discipline in the future. I got to witness the rewarding experiences and challenges faced by medical professionals and healthcare staff. I even had hands-on encounters as they handled the differing physical/emotional needs of each patient under their care as well as stressful situations like large patient influxes and emergency ambulances bringing in critical patients with life-threatening injuries/illnesses.
