I worked with Dr. William Fitt on a project investigating the ecological resilience of three different polyps of the jellyfish Cassiopea. This study employed genetic, biochemical, and physiological techniques to examine how genotypic and geographic differences influenced these organisms' distribution and environmental specialization. I determined the salinity tolerances of three polyps, each from a different geographic region, and specifically examined changes in the salinity of 20 units in either direction from the average 35ppt.
