Student-led collaboration with Creative Computing and Graphic Design Students and IADT staff. Working with IADT student support services to develop a student-focused and universally accessible way to find the right support and access relevant information with ease.

Working with iadt’s marketing team to promote iadt to prospective students. Attending school visits, participating in student talks and webinars, presenting my work and helping during open days.

Being a part of First Year Focus team that worked together with Student Experience Team and Student’s Union at iadt to help and welcome incoming first year students. Contract was effective for the first month of the academic year (duration of the First Year Focus Programme). Responsibilities included:- Running induction sessions- Giving campus tours- Helping new students to find their way around campus- Referring new students to relevant staff

Working on an exciting, self-directed project, designing a component for Redwood Design System. Collaborating with PMs, Visual Designers and UX Designers across numerous product teams.- I was an affiliate designer bringing a product concept and turning it into a flexible component for the design system that can be used across all Oracle applications.- Worked as a sole Interaction Designer in charge of the anatomy, usage, configurations, functionality and accessibility of the component.- Collaborated with PM, Visual Designer and UX Writer throughout the design process.- Carried out internal use case call and audit of an existing component concept.- Identified the need and the niche for the component in Redwood Design System.- Created functional distinction between a light activity component and a detailed audit log.- Wrote a detailed component specification with elements of usage guidelines.- My work was reviewed internally and with different teams / stakeholders over 20 times.- Responded to design feedback from SVP of UX Design.- I presented my work to the Design community at Oracle and shared my specification in a formal review process.-I gathered all of the use cases and documented descoped needs in a way that future work can be picked up easily.

Working part-time during academic year and full-time during holidays. Supporting florists and other staff by completing a wide range of tasks. My work allows the team to meet high demand and provide the best customer service possible.My responsibilities:- Making floral arrangements- Curating store’s display- Providing Customer Service in store, online, on the phone- Carrying phone and email correspondence with customers- Taking in phone orders for flower delivery- Liaising with Online Deliveries Department - Working with invoices to price new stock- Working on tills- Preparation work in advance of busy periods

I began teaching individual lessons privately. This allowed me to better tailor lessons to students’ needs and work out a flexible timetable that fitted better with college and my part-time job at Appassionata Flowers.My responsibilities consist of:- Time management- Liaising with parents of students- Tracking payments- Lesson preparation- Teaching classesThis is a small scale practice. If I were to expand it, next step would be to build an online presence and use it to share the progress of my students.

I worked on a telecommunications dashboard product using an award-winning Redwood Design System, as a part of the Global CX Team at Oracle. Drove design culture change through presenting and outlining the importance of user goals to PM group leading the project.- Designed a high fidelity order management flow that focused on bulk resolution actions- Collaborated with my mentor who was a Principal UX Designer for the product.- Advocated for the best UX research and design practices.- Some of my proposed design solutions were later considered in the MVP of the product.- Presented my work and learning as an engaging story inspiring the CX team, fellow interns and design leadership.

I taught bodhrán to young beginners entirely online. I managed to successfully spark an interest in the instrument as well the Irish Traditional Music among eleven-year-old students.My responsibilities at this role:- Preparing Lessons- Tailoring lesson content to the group of students- Ensuring that all students are progressing- Liaising with parents and timetabling- Posting supporting video material to Google Classroom.

I was offered a teaching position based on my teacher’s recommendation to the chairman of the branch. I taught bodhrán classes to intermediate and advanced groups. Classes took place on a weekly basis and were in-person before Covid.My responsibilities at this role:- Preparing Lessons- Tailoring lesson content to the group of students- Ensuring that all students are progressing- Liaising with parents and timetabling- Posting supporting video material to Google Classroom.The branch was shut down temporarily in March 2021 leading to my teaching break.
