Highly motivated and accomplished senior finance student at Georgia Southern University. I have invested a great deal of time and effort into earning a spot on either the Dean's or President's list each semester.I have learned great customer service techniques, people skills, and leadership skills during my near four year tenure at Georgia Southern. From the business aspect, I have managed a couple of different companies. Whether it be a restaurant or retail store, I have demonstrated how to allocate money and human capital for the best possible output. In addition, I serve as acting president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, organizing various philanthropic events and ensuring the chapter operates successfully on a day-to-day basis. This job has taught me great leadership skills via a trial-and-error method. I have learned to empower other members in order to boost the overall success of the chapter and ensure our financial success.For nonprofit work, I recently organized a fundraiser for a local family whose house was destroyed in a recent hurricane. We raised nearly $10,000 for them to rebuild their home. In addition, I have helped to organize a fundraising week for my fraternity that collectively raised approximately $50,000 between the last two years. Also, I played a key role in planning the Tasha Kessler Memorial 5k which raised money for cancer patients in the state of Georgia.
