Provide input to the program development team on project design. Advise on bidding, partnering, and staffing decisions. Lead cost proposal development, including managing teaming agreements, subcontractor budgets, and materials from partner organizations. Led the development of CNFA’s programs through strategic planning, donor relations, and strategic program development. Over three years, expanded CNFA’s development portfolio geographically and technically, with three-fold portfolio growth, and expansion to eleven new countries.

Led local team of ten consultants to improve marketing strategies and increase domestic and export sales for Azeri food processors and agribusiness enterprises in key agricultural value chains. Client portfolio achieved over $1.3MM in trade and investment in the first year with program assistance.• Designed and launched “Buy Azeri” marketing campaign to promote local food products. • Led Azeri food processors exhibiting at Saint Petersburg InterFood 2005, resulting in over $500K in export sales.• Conducted market appraisal of Moscow fresh greens market to facilitate entry by a Baku supplier. • Studied Moscow market for black leaf tea to assess competitiveness of Azeri tea production.

• Developed and managed a $1.6MM USD pilot agricultural initiative, comprised of training, technical assistance, and trade development activities to increase value-added processing and marketing.• Created value-chain development strategies for tourism, consulting, and agro-processing in Kyrgyzstan.• Conducted rapid market appraisals of the Russian food market and overall Afghan market.• Introduced business advisory model developed in Kyrgyzstan to Pragma teams in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
