Managed the ARIES Consumables Manufacturing department. Responsible for the daily coordination of personnel, resources, and equipment to ensure the forecasted target and budget were met.► Led a varying sized production team ranging from 2-3 shifts, 2-3 Supervisors, 3-6 Team Leads, and 36-78 Assembly Operators, spread across four production lines.► Directed daily production to meet/exceed monthly production target (Avg. of 208k cassettes). Consistently met/exceeded monthly target over 7 months and increased output by 24%.► Reduced final product lead time by 93% over a 3 month period by streamlining the DHR process flow which involves multiple departments including Logistics, Production, QC, and QA.► Reduced NCMR occurrences by 52% over a six month period through root cause analysis and the assignment of corrective/preventative actions.► Processed all Oracle WIP Material Transactions through to Completion for the department in order to expedite product release for shipment. Provided daily updates on release status to Global Planning, Shipping, and Logistics Coordinators.► Managed daily department KPI Metrics Board and hosted morning Focus Meetings which captured daily production output, production schedule, materials availability, product release, equipment downtime, NCMRs, DRNs, Quality Control testing schedule, urgent actions, short-term projects, and long-term projects.► Managed monthly and quarterly department production and quality metrics; headcount turnover, direct labor costs, earned hours, actual hours, material costs, final product output, manufacturing yield, incoming materials yield, nonconformity defect analysis, nonconformity disposition analysis, deviation Analysis, and aging NCMRs.► Managed production department training program; including execution, coordination, and record keeping based on DCOs, ECOs, and DRNs.
