My name is Kaelyn Edwards, a passionate student currently majoring in education at FIU, with the goal of becoming a principal. With a deep commitment to improving the education field and helping young minds thrive, I aim to create meaningful change in the classroom and beyond. My journey has been shaped by experiences such as coaching a middle school dance team, where I discovered my love for teaching. As a graduate of the Urban Teacher Academy Program, I gained valuable insights into the complexities of education and developed foundational skills in classroom management, curriculum development, and educational leadership. UTAP provided me with hands-on experience and mentorship, further igniting my passion for teaching and my long-term goal of becoming a school principal.
