After receiving my Bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Pacific, I decided to continue my education at Pacific by getting my master's degree in Leading for Social Justice. I will be graduating from the program in the summer of 2024. Throughout my education and time in Stockton, I have developed a passion to help people. I have had the opportunity to work with several organizations in the community to gain experience with cultivating social change. I was an athlete for 14 years as well as at the University of Pacific. Through my sport I have learned how to work alongside others, manage my team, be a leader, and organization skills. While in school, I worked in retail for almost 2 years as well as 3 years at a wedding venue in Idaho where I eventually became a manager. Both of these jobs have allowed me to gain experience in customer service and organizing groups. With my skills and education, I hope to work with people in disadvantaged communities and developing countries to work towards a better future.
