Participate in requirement design for hardware implementation and hardware trouble shooting. Contact with ASIC vendor and ISDN stack provider to get support on issues during development. This interface reached the general availability to market within aggressive schedule.Analyzed, designed, bug fixing and added features for VoIP iPBX embedded system on Motorola 860T microprocessor with pSOS RTOS. Responsible for embedded system design such as BSP changes for PowerPC 860 and new hardware bring up.

Involved in design, review, coding and testing the software module for user interface features for TDMA-IS 136 phone. Fixed bugs on MMI and IS-136 protocol stack reported from field trial and compliance test for TDMA-IS136 phone.Implemented a feature on both device and Visual Basic software to real time capture L3 message, display call processing status and RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) of serving and neighborhood cells for TDMA phone. This feature helped to pinpoint the bugs in phone system from the field trial.Designed and developed a software module for a smart battery charger to safely charge the cellular phone battery.
