I am a third year Political Science major with a double minor in Business Management and Economics. My passion for the environment started with the global student climate strike movement all the way back in 2019, which led me to get involved in electoral politics as a campaign staffer for my provincial member of legislative assembly, social entrepreneurship through founding multiple student-owned businesses, and student governance as the Co-President of my high school student council and now as a Sustainability Commissioner with SSMU. As a political science student, I’m particularly interested in how to make public policy work to protect our planet and our people; leading me to do two internships in clean energy policy development with the Clean Foundation and the Government of Nova Scotia in my hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a 2022 Loran Scholar, I have been selected on the basis of character, leadership, and community service for the largest undergraduate scholarship in Canada.
