I am currently a first year student studying global business with an economics focus at the University of Texas at Dallas. Although my college education is still in early stages, I believe that I have a number of valuable experiences under my belt. I graduated from a project-based high school with an emphasis on STEAM(science, technology, engineering, art, and math), allowing me to gain various skills used in professional environments and opportunities which would otherwise have been incredibly difficult to experience. Some of these opportunities include; working closely with the Toyota ITx team to efficiently update their programs with the least amount of technical debt, propose a 4-corner revitalization plan to the mayor of Plano, among others. These unique experiences have allowed me to refine my communication and presentation skills as well as collaborate with many different kinds of people. I have previously been a cashier at a food court allowing me to improve my face to face conversation skills. Currently, I work as a busser, food runner, and manage online orders at a restaurant which has helped me work under fast-paced, high stress environments and multi-task during busy times.All of these experiences and skills have helped shape me into an effective collaborator and worker in professional settings and to continue to learn more crucial business skills.

  My main job as a busser is to clear tables after customers eat, wipe and reset them for other guests. This job is quite fast-paced a lot of times, therefore I learned to work faster and more efficiently under stress. This job comes with a lot of multi-tasking as I have to clear, wipe, and reset a multitude of tables at the same time.
