I did my psychology internship at Clinic of Learning Disorders (Lastentutkimusklinikka) which is maintained by Nillo Mäki Institute and city of Jyväskylä. I worked with children aged 9-13 years.My tasks were-psychological assessment-rehabilitation-consulting parents and teachers

My tasks as a coordinator was to perform pilot testings for participants aged 5-20 years and report about the tests.

I worked in three different research projects:-ReadTwin-JLD-23 (Jyväskylä Longitudinal Study of Dysleksia) / LKK-23 (Lapsen kielen kehitys)-TESS (Teacher stress study), pilot studyIn the ReadTwin and JLD-23 projects my main tasks were interviewing and testing adult participants (cognitive tests, reading and writing tests), scoring the tests and writing and sending feedback to the participants. My tasks also included handling and analyzing the data (SPSS, Excell). In TESS pilot my tasks were giving instructions to kindergarten teachers about the study (eye tracking glasses, collecting saliva samples, etc.), videotaping kindergarten glasses and interviewing teachers. I also wrote transcriptions of the teacher interviews, translated them from Finnish to English and analysed them with qualitative methods.

I was research assistant in a large project about physical activity and effects on brain and learning. My tasks were testing 13-15 year old participants with several different cognitive tests and handling of the test data (Excell).
