I joined Flexicon in 2007 as a servicer, In this position I had to service the bagging machine which was aComcount manufacture. It was my duty to ensure the machine was serviced on a fortnightly basis. A full servicewould include changing all machine wires, cleaning all infrared beams, cleaning and replacing the motor beltswhen needed.As my skills grew at Flexicon I was given the opportunity of a new role as Supervisor.This meant I now had more responsibility and was looked upon to make decisions and choices involving thestaff and work equipment around me.My duties for this role consisted of:- Attending daily management meetings to review and organise staff percentages, work plans and workefficiency across all departments of the business.- Creating purchase orders for machine and stock parts which include liquid tight conduit fittings and variousstainless steel parts.- Negotiating price and discounts with clients for both purchasing and sales orders.- Liaising with the office department ensuring the weekly orders did not escalate beyond manual capability- Looking after staff members ensuring they had all safety equipment and where happy within their role.- Using the company's internal administration programme creating and distributing work orders to staffmembers and creating targets to maintain department efficiency.- Creating and maintaining excel spread sheets showing order history and stock history which was then usedto create a stock plan to ensure all top selling lines were kept in stock at a high quantity instantly ready fordistribution if requested by clients.- Ensuring all orders where completed to the best of stock ability by the end of each day and reporting anyissues or low stock components to the Assembly supervisor

During my short time there I showed my working ability which led to be promoted to the role of CustomerService Supervisor.
