I am UCR graduate and advocate for social change, with a strong passion for making a positive impact in the world. With a background in client intake, research, and document preparation from my internship at the Alliance for Children's Rights, I have honed my skills in effectively assessing and addressing legal needs. As a former Supervisor at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, I developed strong leadership abilities and maintained high standards for customer service and sales. I hold an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Modesto Junior College and recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, with a minor in Feminist Studies. I excel at leading and motivating teams, implementing sales floor and customer service standards, and handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Additionally, my experience in recruiting, hiring, and training employees has allowed me to build high-performing teams with a strong focus on product knowledge and sales. My strong organizational and problem-solving skills, coupled with my ability to adapt to changing situations, make me an effective and results-driven retail manager.
