I am a scientist who is committed to developing innovative solutions to improve human health. My passion is researching rare diseases, which are often overlooked due to a lack of funding and public awareness. I firmly believe that everyone living with a disease, no matter how rare it is, deserves access to life-changing treatments. As a scientist in Analytical Development at Forge Biologics, I am thrilled to be a part of a team whose mission is to enable access to transformative gene therapies and help bring them from idea into reality. Forge’s lead program, FBX-101, is targeted towards Krabbe disease, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. I support this mission by: • Developing and optimizing protein-based assays that are used to evaluate Forge’s gene therapy products• Writing effective methods and forms to document optimized assay protocols• Training team members to perform protein-based assays in order to transfer methods to Quality ControlSpecialties include: Capillary gel electrophoresis | Method development | Scientific writing | Training | Project management | Leadership | Public speaking
