Kaitlin was led into the accounting profession by a fascination with systems and an enjoyment of working with, and within, them. She began her career as a taxation specialist, commencing a cadetship with Bush and Campbell in 2013, and continues to take every opportunity to broaden her knowledge base and sharpen her skills.Kaitlin became a Chartered Accountant in 2018 after receiving the highest mark nationwide in the Taxation module, the highest mark in NSW in the Management Accounting & Applied Finance module, and a Merit (top 5%) in all four technical modules.In May 2022, after eight years' experience in public practice, she transitioned into the role of Chief Financial Officer at Murrumbidgee Council. She is excited by the opportunity to contribute to the communities of Coleambally, Darlington Point, and Jerilderie, which she and her family now call home. She enjoys the sense of community and collaboration within the local government sector, and looks forward to connecting with other local government finance professionals.
