As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Clemson University, currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration, I am passionate about public service and dedicated to making a difference.During my undergraduate studies, I actively engaged in research through Clemson's Prison Humanities Initiative creative inquiry, where I explored the intersection of criminal justice and humanities, further deepening my understanding of social issues and systemic challenges. Throughout my academic career, which includes achieving a GPA of 3.88 in undergrad and maintaining a 4.0 GPA in grad school, I have been recognized on both the President's and Dean's Lists multiple times, reflecting my commitment to excellence and continuous learning.In my professional journey, I have transitioned from working as a Tutor at the Clemson Communication Center to focusing on my MPA studies. I am eager to leverage my academic background and practical experiences in a new position where I can continue to learn and grow professionally, gaining further knowledge and expertise. My time at the Communication Center allowed me to help students grow academically and develop effective learning strategies. Additionally, my experience as a Law Clerk Intern at Barbara Howard Law Firm gave me hands-on exposure to the legal field, where I constructed and managed legal documents.Outside of academics and work, I am actively involved in several extracurricular activities. I am a Graduate Student Senator, Welcome Week Leader, an enthusiastic member of Central Spirit where I am Assistant Director for Homecoming 2024, and a participant in the Criminal Justice Club, American Sign Language Club, UNICEF, and Clemson Hope. I also hold certifications in Narcan Training, QPR Suicide Gatekeeper Training, Safe Place Training, and Advocacy Leadership in Health Equity.I am eager to connect with professionals and organizations that share my passion for public service.
