During my tenure with Pera Neville Clarke, I held the appointment of the Asia Pacific Programme Director for the British Midlands Programme*, a special UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) programme to promote and facilitate inward investment into the United Kingdom. The primary objective of the programme is to drive economic development, business efficiency, investment and competitiveness, employment, skills and sustainable development in the East & West Midlands regions, England. Note: *The British Midlands Programme is created and funded by two UK Regional Development Agencies (RDA): East Midlands Development Agency located in Nottingham, and Advantage West Midlands located in Birmingham, England.

I founded the Pera Neville Clarke (PNC) Academy, a leadership and training arm of Pera Neville Clarke, to introduce new productivity and quality concepts outside of Britain. It was through PNC that Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen concepts were introduced to this part of the world including Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region. The continuous improvement concepts pivoted to a greater scale as more people gets trained and the learning embraced and widely adopted by the government agencies, the public and private sectors in Singapore as the foundation for productivity improvement and industry transformation.
