• Purchases products and services at optimum commercial, quality and delivery terms, expediting priority orders as required and urgent requests within 1 day. Completes purchase orders that include accurate.
• Liaises closely with vendors, ensures that orders follow the company’s approval process, and follows up on scheduled deliveries and on product manuals and certificates to ensure delivery of purchased goods in high.
• Interacts and works closely with other departments to ensure deliveries are planned and routed in accordance with business requirements, maintaining inventory and operational supply levels
• Collaborates with Finance to manage invoice payment and approval processes
• Supports users with industry procurement knowledge, providing input and proposals on commercial, operational, quality and inventory requirements
• Sources quotations, analyses supplier selection, price negotiations, benchmarking, contract negotiations and suppliers’ performance monitoring to maximise cost savings

• Responsible for purchase of general procurement according to users’ requisition for AirAsia Berhad, AirAsia X Berhad and others AirAsia’s Group.
• Responsible for purchase of indirect materials according to users’ requisition.
• To ensure that purchase order is issued upon receipt of purchase requisition and check that the price is competitive amongst the supplier upon issuing of purchase order.
• Source and benchmark for better price, term & condition and lead time & quality.
• Assist to resolve Accounts payable issues, receiving discrepancies and non-conformances.
• Identify, select and propose suppliers of choice consistent with company goal and direction.

• To ensure that purchase order is issued only upon receipt of purchase requisition and check that the pricing is competitive amongst the supplier upon issuing of purchase orders.
• To liaise with suppliers pertaining to quality problems on their goods should a defect be detected or reported by site supervisors or customers and follow up with suppliers on rectification of the defects.
• To negotiate for the lowest competitive price amongst the supplier without sacrificing quality.
• To ensure that all purchase orders issued are followed up with on time delivery.
• To ensure that any variation orders that are requested by designers are being captured into the cost and quotations are being prepared for the variation orders.
• To ensure that goods return or documents sent out are followed up with delivery order.
