I am currently a senior at Pierce City High School and have attended there for 2 years now. Before attending Pierce City High School I attended Aurora High School. I brought many of my unique qualities from Aurora to Pierce City. At my time in Pierce City I attended Scott Regional Technology Center and attended their marketing program. Through their marketing program I was able to join DECA which is a student club that teaches students about the principles of marketing. I have been very successful in DECA and marketing placing 1st place in both district competitions I have attended. I have also qualified for state competition both years and I have competed at the international level my first year in DECA. When I competed at the international level in Orlando, Florida, I placed top 25% in my event. I plan on competing at the international competition in May this year as well. I have also competed in the Ozark Electric Cooperative Essay Contest and was one of the finalists. I was also a member of FBLA, in district competition I placed 4th and received a medal in my event. I am also a member of the National Technical Honor Society, which I achieved through meeting all the requirements at Scott Regional Technology Center. Not only am I very involved with student organizations that elevated my knowledge in marketing like FBLA and DECA, but I am also a very hard worker in the classroom achieving a 3.9 GPA through high school.
