As a Human Resources Specialist, it is my job to be the first point of contact for our Advice and Counsel team that handle Employee Relations. I address managers and associates and provide advice on policies, procedures, best practices, and provide guidance when needed. I also handle any form of disciplinary routes or corrective actions when it comes to employees Attendance. I also, take the calls from Managers and Associates and route the cases to the appropriate teams when it comes to certain situations related to performance, conduct, and terminations. This job helps me have great communication skills when speaking with managers and associates and allows me to act on the spot when working with employees related to concerns they may have throughout the ministry. The systems we utilize in the company consist of HR ServiceNow and Workday.

Working in the Human Resources Department at Bon Secour Mercy Health. I currently work as a HR Service Advisor taking calls throughout the day helping associates with any questions they have, directing them to the correct department, and working on portal cases that come in assisting associate with anything they are in need of with excellent customer service. While working for Fusion Alliance, I was a Recruiting Associate. I would source candidates on the job boards and have the first initial phone screen if I felt they were qualified. Once I gathered enough information about the candidate, I would then pass the resume to a Senior Recruiter to complete the final steps from being submitted to a salesperson or directly to the client. I had experience using Monster, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, Dice, LinkedIn, and Careerbuilder. I would format resumes for candidates in Fusion format. I would be making calls on a daily basis. I would also be adding candidates to our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and expanding my network for future opportunities that would come available. While working for 11th Hour Staffing, I was working part-time as a Recruiter Associate.
