Also handled the House Small Business Committee for the Vice Chairman and introduced H.R. 8033, the Regulatory Transparency for Small Businesses Act, a legislative fix to ensure agencies are participating in critical preliminary measures when certifying whether a rule will have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities.

I had the privilege of interning for Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina while taking classes through James Madison University's Washington Semester Program for the Spring semester of 2020. During my time in the Senate, I researched and wrote policy memos on environmental policy, recorded and analyzed data on health and tax policy & Opportunity Zones, coordinated attendance for Senator Tim Scott's Fourth Annual HBCU Fly-In event, led frequent hour or more long historical tours of the United States Capitol to constituents, answered calls and recorded opinions on IQ CRM from South Carolinian constituents, and documented and organized case work. This experience strengthened my skills in research, writing, public speaking, and overall office professionalism. It further expanded my knowledge and understanding of the political realm and legislative process.

During Summer of 2018 I interned in the Provider Physicians Relations department of HCA. During this internship I managed, researched, and organized SalesForce database to standardize and improve reporting accuracy, and created a standardized communication platform for new hire onboarding. Also, I analyzed and simplified physician detail in excel to support department strategies and operations.
