Head of operations and lead contact for all things involving Crimson Robotics

Lead design engineer of the modular arena used to house 3lb, 1lb, and 1lb plastic combat robot fights during The Crimson Bot Brawl competitions hosted by Crimson Robotics at WSU. Tasked with designing an 8’ x 8’ x 7’ modular arena which can be easily assembled and disassembled and stored in a manner that reduces wasted space. After completing the original design, the task was making small adjustments to the arena to perfect it for the future competitions.

Team lead for the design, manufacture, and implementation of the new drivetrain system on the fully redesigned 250lb robot Painsaw V2. This position involves in depth CAD design of custom axels, brackets, wheels, and pulleys. Along with that, was managing the design and fabrication work of other team members working on the drivetrain and other portions of the robot, making sure everyone’s designs mesh well together.

In charge of budgeting and managing the funds of the club.

Operations production intern for the J.R. Simplot Company's Food Group Plant in Moses Lake, Washington. During my employment, I helped oversee the installation of new equipment for two new packaging lines in the plant, was given the responsibility of being the interim training manager, where I helped train employees and even lead a new hire orientation. Outside of those roles, I was an extra set of helping hands out on the production, helping change blank cases in case-packing equipment… Show more Operations production intern for the J.R. Outside of those roles, I was an extra set of helping hands out on the production, helping change blank cases in case-packing equipment, recalibrating packaging equipment, helping change former inserts, helping investigate instances of foreign material, helping sample and grade product for the foreign market, wrote over 100 Lock Out Tag Out and machine operation Standard Operating Procedures, walked the plant and looked for things that were potential hazards, helped make sure said hazards were taken care of, helped troubleshoot errors in equipment, and most importantly, networked with a large group of successful individuals in the Food Processing and Production Industry. I was in charge of cleaning and detailing the work vehicles for the company once a week for a period of roughly three months. Alongside that, I was also tasked with tidying and sweeping the shop where the fabrication took place.
