Graduate of the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University with a degree in Information Management Systems. I currently work for Auburn University's Information Management Services department's service desk as Service Desk Representative. I have a total of 7 years of work experience in the tech field currently while also attending university during that same time.I am a technical, logical thinker, who is an advocate with proactive security methodologies, and strong team collaboration across all departments. I have a passion for keeping up with the latest trends in security whether that be through daily news, blogs, social media, work colleagues, or podcasts. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge on malware analysis and penetration testing through HackTheBox and SANs courses as this year ends. Over the past year and a half, I have managed the endpoint security for over 1500 devices, resolving an average of 40 incidents a month. After every incident I have a discussion with the user to see how we can prevent this from happening again as the users are our first line of defense. I attended the SANs 501 Enterprise Defender conference and completed the GIAC GCED certification as well. I also competed solo and ranked in the SANs NetWars 2022 tournament which bolstered my Nmap, PowerShell, Linux, Kerberoasting, SQL, and Active Directory skills. Combining all these experiences, my passion for cybersecurity, willingness to learn, and the knowledge I have gained during my 4 years working for Auburn University and 5 years attending school I know I would be able to heavily contribute to your team.
