I am an author. I have written books on unlearning.I have experience of more than 40 years in various capacities in the field of telecommunication, IT, management and writing. Initially in Indian air force, I was involved for many new innovative and advanced projects including planning and executing network based technologies. I have delt with satellite communication, digital communication, fiber optical communication and IP based computer networking. Later for a brief period, I joined IETE as Assistant Secretary (Publications) and made significant change in this old prestigious institution in the country. The change was phenomenal and could not be done earlier for last 40 years.I was extensively involved in formulating Vision 2020 for IT in Indian Air Force.After premature retirement from Air Force in 2005, I researched and wrote a book on unlearning, the idea on which I worked quietly for more than 30 years. The book was first published in Jul 2007 and again in Feb 2011. The second book on unlearning bagged First Prize from ISTD Book Award 2011. 3rd book was published in 2014.I am an innovator who believes ideas can change the world, so I want to make habits of creating new ideas. I train people to create new ideas. I conduct unlearning sessions in Delhi NCR on regular basis.I dream to establish a lab to create new ideas which will help people facing this world!! Upgraded IT infrastructure of IETE various departments IETE is having more than 60 staff and they were working with outdated computers for their day to day operations. They needed to be changed immediately. Around 40 computers were auctioned and replaced with latest specification. Many were upgraded. Many printers and scanners were made available at workplace for smooth work. Responsibility- No written responsibility was given as requirements were never felt by institutions nor staff. All these were done with self initiatives.2. Creation of Online submission and Review System 2008 - 2010 Institution for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) has been publishing technical journals for last 30 years. The submission and review process remained manual or through email. The system was costly and time consuming. Authors, Reviewers and Editors used to find the manual system cumbersome and costly. An online system was procured and developed to meet the today’s demand of publication of technical journals. Online systems from M/S Medknow Publication was installed and implemented successfully. Responsibilities: Study the long outstanding problems and provided cost effective solutions.

The existing cable TV used to cover the area of .5 KMS. I studied the project and worked out a solution. The transmission system was changed. The reception was available to the distance of 5 KMS. The same project I could replicate at Bagdogra when I stand posted there. Responsibilities: Improve Users satisfaction to provide technological solutions from the existing infrastructure.Additional Project of Interest Feb 1993 – Dec 2003 I worked additionally on the project of my interest in the Air Force. The projects are like Futuristic Automatic Data Handling System (FADHS), Tactical Air Defence Integrated System (TADIDS), Integrated Material management Office Logistic & Stores (IMMOLS) etc. These projects were at very beginning stages of evolution keeping the latest technological development in consideration.Responsibilities: Study the newly developed system and educating the large number of technical personnel to maintain them. -
Technical OfficerIndian Air Force Jan 1996 - Feb 2002India1. Creation of Ideal Server room in Signal Complex 2001 - 2002 An Ideal Server room was created in LOS Complex for Western Air Command. This room was made with all necessary requirements like furniture, stand by power supply, cable pair availability, main and stand by servers, proper connection and layout, etc. The work services of the tune of 7 Lacks were insured for this purpose. The AOC 8 wing and O I/C EDP of HQ WAC appreciated the project. Responsibilities: Conceptualize the problems and provided revolutionary solutions.2. Creation of Monitoring Facilities at Communication establishment 1998 - 1999 The Sub Control Center (SCC) of Tropo/ LOS establishment did not have complete provisions to monitor the existing 4-5 links performance simultaneously through 2 Airmen working round the clock. The test equipments like Frequency Analyzer, Oscilloscope etc. available were integrated and fault logic was created to achieve the desired alarm. The work was appreciated by all including C-in-C during his visit. Later I was awarded Chief of Air Staff Commendation (CAS) for this work in the year 2001. Responsibilities: Conceptualize the problems and provide technical solutions.3. Installation of Digital Link at Gurusikhar by DOT 1996 - 1997 There was a significant scarcity in channel availability in DOT link between Abu Road and Mt Abu resulting channel scarcity at Gurusikhar during hostilities. I studied the system, worked out a solution, proposed the solution and worked out for the implementation. It was a big success and still running there. Responsibilities: From conception of problems to the formulation of technical solutions.
