• Prepare the work plan, to serve as a comprehensive and detailed model map for the successful implementation of the project, in coordination. • Conduct the first review and updating of the technical handbook and annexes, to submit to the hierarchy for approval, and follow up its application with all field staff.• Responsible for the technical team supervision technical duties and tasks to review and revise when needed. • Contribute to the design and shape of new activities and project components, providing inputs from the field experience. • Ensure the implementation of the Project activities or new components, involving the team and ensuring their understanding. • Review, validate and send to the relevant department (logistics or finance) the documentation related to responses received by the field team.

• Review contractor’s Materials, shop drawings and Variation orders submittals • Supervise contactor’s construction activities to meet specifications requirements.• Provide solutions for technical issues meeting hydraulic design criteria. • Review daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports submitted by the contractor.• Provide weekly update for the management about progress, problems, and solutions recommendations. • Preparing and updating a periodic monthly forecast and time schedule for the project.• Monitoring and controlling Cashflow and Budget’s Project • Preparing Maintenance plan for the project.

Westbank & Gaza Architecture and Engineering Services Project / funded by USAID.• Prepare preliminary fact reports and scope of work for the proposed Water/ Wastewater projects by PWA/WBWD.• Assist in preparing the task proposal for the proposed design projects for USAID Approval.• Lead the in-house design projects.• Manage water projects associated with the USAID INPII program.• Supervise the work of subordinate staff and review the technical content of local sub-consultants engaged in water design (Drawings, BODR, BOQ and Hydraulic Models).• Evaluate technical proposals from sub consultants, involve in tendering process and related issues with the procurement department.• Lead the technical development of water pipelines and drainage• Work with cost estimator to develop BOQs.• Perform quality control reviews on in-house and sub-contracted design work. • Review projects for compliance with all applicable codes and standards. • Follow up with local authorities and ministries to acquire the needed permits and approvals.• Prepare request for task order proposal, Tender Packages, pre-bid meetings and site visits for USAID.• Review and prepare a response for contractors (RFI’s) related to design criteria.
