I worked independently to develop, organize, and maintain qualitative and quantitative datasets related to HBCU museums, archives, and art galleries for the NMAAHC HBCU Initiative. The work focused on the preservation of precious collections of African American history that are critically under-resourced on HBCU campuses.

I worked directly with Dr. Ralph Gomes, a prolific scholar who founded the doctoral program for the Howard University Department of Sociology.
