Establishment of Technology Development Centre At the University of Agriculture Peshawar, Pakistan• Project consists of FAHVS Academic Block, Animal Nutrition Department, Animal Health Department, Livestock Management Department, Poultry Science Farm Block, Climate Change Centre, Horticulture Department, Business Incubation Centre• Duties & Responsibilities • Overall project Construction Management, contract management and top supervision of Construction Activities.• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadline will be met • Acquire equipment, material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies• Hire sub-contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.• Supervise the work of Site Engineers, Supervisors etc. and give them guidance when needed. • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues. • Preparations and submissions of IPCs, Variation orders, Escalation Bills, Shop Drawings, Time Extension etc.• Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.• Adaptable and proficient in learning new concepts quickly and efficiently.• Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.• Paid attention to detail while completing assignments.• Passionate about learning and committed to continual improvement.• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.• Acted as a team leader in group projects, delegating tasks and providing feedback.

Construction Supervision and Monitoring1. Assessment and surveying of Government schools for new construction and rehabilitation scope of work according to available space and Project Description. 2. Making schools plans and placing of class room’s module in available space according to scope of work.3. Making Rehab BOQ’s According to scope of work and project description. 4. Arranging Cluster Trainings to provide technical guidance to school administration and PTC committee on scope of work and supervision of construction activities according to specifications.5. Provide technical guidance, and training to contractor’s engineers by constructing trial panel before starting of construction work to understand the methodology. 6. Supervise all the major concrete activities and monitor overall construction work according to specifications focusing on quality assurance.7. Conduct Inspections on MIS App to update progress and put observations on quality of work and suggest there remedial measurements if found defected. 8. Coordinate with contractors and education department related to construction work in the schools.9. Taking record of all technical documents e.g. Construction drawings, BOQ’s , Contract Document, Material submittals, material Test reports, Construction Schedule , daily reports etc., and ensured on contractor to maintained the construction record on site.10. Taking joint measurements with contractor for IPC’s and verification of computerized copies of running and final IPC’s submitted by contractor.11. Preparation of schedule for field inspection on basis of Bi weekly period with concern of contractors.

 Assessment, quantities estimation, billing of Flood protection walls, Irrigation Channel, Drinking water supply schemes (hand pumps, tube wells, dug wells), sanitation and other community projects. Manage technical and engineering components related to the programs implemented in the district within including the management of contractors. Assist Area Engineer in architectural and structural drawings as well as create bills of quantity, material specifications lists, and other technical documentation relating to infrastructure programming within Peshawar. Facilitate activities that assist government authorities to liaise with community leaders, individuals and groups to identify and prioritize community needs.  Work with government and local authorities, leaders, individuals and groups to identify and implement selected community development projects. Identify appropriate mechanisms or vehicles to adapt structures and to tender bids from contractors or local labor. Assist Area Engineer to negotiate contracts or agreements with contractors, and assist in administration of grants. Supervise projects in coordination with government or local technical personnel and in collaboration with the program technicians and provide regular reporting regarding the status of projects. Maintain records in accordance with program standards. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

-Inspecting project sites to monitor progress.-Ensuring design specifications and safety standards on the project site.-Handling direct operations and maintenance activities on project site.-Surveying and establish reference points and elevations to guide .-Handling cost-of-materials and on-site project visits documents.-To determine strength and adequacy of foundations, concrete or steel by testing soils and materials.- Preparing sub-contractor bills.- Review of Plan, Identification of errors in plans and ensure optimal working of construction personnel.- Dealing all issues related to Site with Contractor.- Managing and maintaining of accurate field notes, and - Maintaining of flow of technical information.

Duties & Responsibilities: Preparation of proposals for Link roads, sanitation, irrigation & drinking water supply schemes. Surveying of sanitation, irrigation & drinking water supply schemes. Designing & Cost Estimation of Link roads, sanitation, irrigation and drinking water supply schemes.  Implementation & supervision of the above mentioned schemes.  Facilitation of community in need identification and prioritization. Maintaining community record through regular checkups. Developing monthly work plan and progress reports for the activities.o
