Responsibility:• Strategic supplier performance management and improvement: Serve ACPC supply chain GM on strategic supplier performance management and draft yearly improvement plan to satisfy Asia sourcing strategy. Partner with sites, sourcing commercial and sourcing quality. Train, mentor and coach suppliers top leadership and cross-functional management team, direct continuous improvement using TOC/TPS/LSS/RCA. etc. methodology to drive suppliers’ performance improvement and supplier long-term capability growth. • Big data analysis: Regular analysis of purchasing penetration rate loss, and drill for Chinese supplier procurement opportunities, to reduce procurement cost.• Team knowledge base management: Identify & deploy impactful tools, training needed and process related to deploy team essential knowledge structure. Accelerate integration with smooth process transition. Mentor sourcing team on LSS GB (green belt) projects. Mentor sourcing team on RCA certification. • QMS compliance: Ensure sourcing process compliance and drive continuous improvement in sourcing team, lead quality management review, lead yearly QMS internal audit and support on external audit.

Responsibility:• Partner with 2 plants’ managers, design yearly lean road map to align with business goal:Lean vision, lean projects, lean expert development and lean culture development.• Guide and lead lean execution in manufacturing (TPS), cycle time reduction, warehouse & indoor logistic optimization, material planning.• Build and develop Lean culture, design lean training material, build lean knowledge structure.• Organize lean seminar, Cultivate lean personnel through KPO (kaizen promotion office) program. Achievement:• Establish factory 1st KANBAN pull material distribution system. Improve material accuracy rate from 85% to 95% for C parts.• Lead Shenyang Campus 1st moving line project for elec. cabinet assembly; improve productivity by 17% & capacity by 50%, succeed fulfillment challenge.• Set up lean framework and KPO program, Coach 17 KPO (Kaizen Promotion Office) projects and develop 17 KPO members to be lean elements expert, help 2 promoted.

Responsibility:• Partner with Wind plant manager to draft plants’ lean road map to align with business goal: Vision, objective, projects, and lean team development.• Lead 6 lean projects: 1) Single labor standard work, 2) Tools point of use, 3) B,C material presentation, 4) Water spider kitting & Kanban pull, 5) Crane less, No forklift. 6) Material planning and warehouse management optimization. • Convert Engineering BOM to Manufacturing BOM, enhance the manufacturing material accuracy, reduce procurement costs. Make Wind Turbine assembly work instruction.• Lead NPI for SCADA, 1.6-100 Wind Turbine.Achievement:• All line single standard work. (60T Wind turbine assembly), increase the standard work rate by 10%.• All tools are deployed in point of use, zero motion of finding tools.• C parts waster spider material preparation efficiency increase by 27%.• Get productivity improved by 19% on 2.75 DTE line through 6 projects, 5.4% on 1.6 xle line through 2 projects.• The raw material inventory turnover rate increased from 4.1 to 5.9, with cost saving of 324k$/year for storage.• SCADA Assembly NPI and localization (GE- Germany to GE- China) with 10% cost saving.
