Kandyce graduated from Palatka High School, in Palatka, Florida in 2015. She continued her education at the University of Florida to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences with a specialization in Animal Sciences. Kandyce's expected graduation date is set for December 2018. Kandyce currently works with the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. She facilitates weekly meetings where girls can interact with each other and engage in fun, mind stimulating activities. Kandyce organizes activities for her girl scouts to complete to ultimately receive a patch or badge on the Girl Scout vest. Kandyce also facilitated cookie booths for the girls to fundraise and sell Girl Scout cookies. Kandyce serves as a peer coach at the Office of Academic Support on the campus of UF. She is also a member of the University Gospel Choir where she travels nationwide to sing and serve multiple communities. She has helped distribute clean water in Flint, Michigan. She has facilitated after school activities for the youth of The Boys and Girls Club in Chicago, Illinois. She has visited many more cities to better serve their communities. This upcoming Fall she plans to volunteer at the Alachua County Humane Society.
