Topic: Analysis of Traffic Flow Characteristics at Major-Minor Road JunctionsProject Guide: Prof. R. Sivanandan, Dept. of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras, Chennai•Study carried out under highly complex, heterogeneous traffic conditions as prevalent in India.•Total of 349 sets of data points collected and analyzed. Each set consisted of 7 different parameters on an average.•Established an Empirical Model that highlighted the correlation between various parameters influencing the flow of traffic at the road junctions to a high level of accuracy.•Suggested ways to decrease congestion and increase the safety of drivers at various road junctions. The findings of the project can be used in better designing road junctions.

Davis Langdon & Seah India is a member firm of Davis Langdon & Seah International (DLSI), one of the world's largest firm of quantity surveyors with over 3100 staff in 92 offices located in 26 countries worldwide.Performed the cost consultancy of ‘Aliens Space Station 1’ a 30 storey structure, the largest and most complicated residential apartment attempted in Hyderabad till date.The work was found to be 99% accurate to the actual values. The estimated cost of construction of the project was directly reported by the company to the clients.

Work performed: Stress Analysis of a Steam Generator using FEA• Created the 3D model of all the structural components of the Steam generator and carried out a static analysis using FEA to calculate stresses in various components of the steam generator. • All the results from the analysis are being used directly by the company as the basis for further research and development.
