As an active and current founding board member for the American Civil Liberties Union- NorCal Chapter, my chair positions focus on the civil rights of those that identify as LGBTQIA+ and also those who identify as disabled. Through my volunteer & advocacy experiences, I have been able to gain a broad perspective & develop an unbiased approach to the concerns that affect my community members. Through implementation of community-based informed approaches that encompass cultural sensitivity and equitable space for all persons, I have established trust & relationships that allow me to meet the needs of diverse populations.I am currently using these experiences to propel me towards my future career. I am open and available to new opportunities and experiences within the public and private sectors.
