Provided support on projects primarily relating to drinking water supply for remote communities and wastewater management on municipal scales.

Provided project assistance in major residential and mixed-use land development projects, performing tasks such as field reviews, CCTV reviews (for water and sewer lines), quantity estimates, sewer attenuation analyses, change order and site instruction issuing, progress payment tracking, completion report formation, project proposal writing, and LEED application.

Continuously assisted with the execution of two research projects: one evaluating the long-term field performance of Carbon-Fibre Reinforced Concrete (CFRC) through structural health monitoring, and the other developing an innovative COVID-19 resistant surface for public wash basins. Responsibilities and accomplishments regarding the former included: collecting data from thermocouples, humidity sensors, and strain gauges and installing all within CFRC and control concrete slabs for purposes of structural health monitoring, developing data interface programs using LabVIEW software, analyzing data and composing an accompanying research paper, performing laboratory tests on CFRC samples such as rebound hammer, resonant frequency, and infrared imaging tests.Responsibilities and accomplishments regarding the COVID-19 related project included: acquiring chemical compounds aimed to enhance the hydrophobicity and antibacterial properties of an experimental surface, incorporating these compounds into a base coat using various dispersion techniques such as magnetic stirring and sonication (and further, determining the optimal dispersion techniques), employing the tensiometer for measurement of contact angles on experimental surfaces, and developing experimental procedures while recording all observations and experimental findings.

Collaborated with the civil engineering project manager on over five civil infrastructure projects, assisting in the day-to-day duties of assigned projects. Composed analytical and project status reports on a weekly basis. Generated construction work schedules using Microsoft Project for a major civil infrastructure project involving the stabilization of an existing commercial building. Completed cost estimates for sanitary system of a new building development, preparing pricing on concrete and excavation. Designed a spreadsheet and accompanying graphs using Microsoft Excel to analyze building movement of a commercial facility, incorporating advanced mathematical techniques and computer skills.

Managed a public consultation session for a major road upgrade project, presenting the project to residents, business owners, and stakeholders of the construction area as well as the mayor and municipal CAO. Transferred over 10 years of sewage treatment plant data from Excel spreadsheets to online lab database. Consulted with the public for municipal construction projects such as asphalt overlay, water main replacement, and bike lane and roundabout implementation. Installed traffic count technology at over 25 locations and generated over 60 reports from the traffic data collected. Composed report "A District Heating Application to North Cowichan", nominated for the Vancouver Island Engineering Society (VIES) work term report award. Used Excel in the data collection for the updated municipal Climate Action and Energy Plan (CAEP) and attended meetings with data consultant. Managed and facilitated an environmental education program, presenting to 1200 students in North Cowichan on renewable energy technologies and climate change.
