Responsible for day-to-day operations of a 20-person, $4.5 million non-profit organization. Managed finance, human resources, operations & events, stakeholder relations, communications, strategic initiatives, and education teams. Developed annual budget, organizational goals, and performance reviews. Managed the audit & finance, governance, and nominating committees of the board and led quarterly Board of Director meeting preparation.

Responsible for maintaining and growing the organization’s brand(s) and its relationships with key constituencies. Managed member relations, fundraising, events, marketing, and communications. Promoted to Senior Vice President in 2016 and assumed a greater role in strategic planning and execution.

Managed the events & marketing team responsible for 25+ annual events, brand management, and digital communications. Assumed responsibility for media relations and grassroots advocacy in 2013.

Managed the organization’s events portfolio with a focus on strengthening the signature events - Energy Efficiency (EE) Global Forum & Exposition and Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Gala – with record attendance and sponsorship revenue (800 attendees, $1.1 million for EE Global and 500 attendees, $590k for the Gala). Assumed responsibility for the organization’s Associates membership program, realizing 20% growth to over 175 members and $1.5 million in revenue.

Responsible for planning and execution of the Alliance’s events, including congressional fly-ins, educational field trips, executive roundtables, and a black-tie awards gala. Created the first EE Global Forum & Exposition attracting 500 executive-level attendees from 30 countries and raising over $1 million in sponsorship and exhibit revenue.

Managed planning and execution of the Association’s domestic and international conferences and expositions. Events drew over 1000 attendees and featured 20+ juried-paper and plenary sessions, 1,000 sq. ft. of exposition space, and a ride’n’drive of electric vehicles.
