As an Executive Assistant, my job is to support three high level executives in the real estate industry on a daily basis. My job responsibilities include but aren't limited to: preparing and editing correspondence, real estate contract preparation and contingency monitoring, follow up, assemble data and reports for meetings and presentations, manage their schedules and set appointments, coordinate meetings and events, manage calls, customer service, coordinate project based work, review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary, as well as handling any personal business for each individual as it may arise.Also as part of my responsibility, I am the Marketing Assistant to our company's VP of Sales & Marketing. The job entails assisting and implementing all marketing strategies by developing various elements essential to the growth of our company. I assist in carrying out several tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the company. In addition, I manage our social media efforts and assist in maintaining our website. Above and beyond the duties listed above, I also assist with any marketing efforts our sales staff may have or need.

Handled booking hotel reservations at the corporate office for individual rooms as well as large groups. Part of this job entailed keeping a professional demeanor when taking reservations as well as continuing that mindset when dealing with customer service/complaints. As a reservationist, you had to make sure you addressed all customer requests to the best of your ability, enter all complete documentation necessary to ensure good communication from the corporate office to the property itself, answer inquiries of room rates, outlets and room locations. Finally be familiar with property, amenities and surrounding areas.My job duties at Cross Country Inns also included marketing. We did direct mailings to business, schools, and other facilities throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky to drum up new business. As part of this program, I also assisted in tracking these mailings to measure the rate of return, and brainstormed for new ideas to bring growth to our hotel chain. Last but not least, I assisted in the ordering and shipping of the property uniforms and supplies for the company. Since we were a small organization, I would also help out in other departments when necessary including playing "gatekeeper" to the company, receptionist, from time to time.
