-Provide rapid response to emergency calls, and scheduled transport. -Treat the sick and injured according to the protocols as laid out by AHS EMS. -Remain up to date with skills and knowledge related to the field and the current protocols and legal aspects of the profession within our province.-Operate as a part of a larger team with all other emergency services and health agencies. -understand the effects of the profession and develop habits to maintain a healthy personal wellbeing on the job and at home.

Emergency Medical Services

Examiner for new EMS candidates as they complete their licensing examinations.

Oilfield/Industrial EMS

-Assist adults with developmental delays in daily activities, job opportunities and learning. -Assist in personal hygiene as required by each client’s needs. -Lead and develop programs to provide opportunities for increasing quality of life, creating meaningful connections, and to create small income opportunities. -Advocate client’s abilities and help them achieve their personal goals.

-Summer position-Assist in maintenance of facilities, feeding and animal care. -Assist with preparations for/and with procedures and treatments under the supervision of the veterinarian as required.

- highschool work experience program- Assist RTs with daily activity planning and leading activities to help residents of Long Term Care maintain an active lifestyle both mentally and physically.
