About Kara Arnold

Kara is a Professor in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University in St. John’s, NL, Canada. Kara received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON), her MBA from McMaster University (Hamilton, ON) and her BA in psychology from the University of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON). Her research focuses on leadership, employee well-being and gender issues in organizations, and has been published in a number of leading journals and presented at international conferences. She is currently working on several SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada) funded projects. She teaches organizational behaviour and human resource management courses at graduate and undergraduate levels. Kara also consults and delivers management training to private and public sector organizations on leadership, women in leadership, team building and healthy work.
