First role within recruitment. Started off as Associate Recruitment Consultant, promoted to Recruitment Consultant within 7 months of starting - Appointed as Business Division Manager for Spider's Reference Checking Services (RCS) also within first year of employment. Responsibilities spanned RECRUITMENT: Executive placement/middle management/white collar end-to-end recruitment for clients mainly in the FMCG, Manufacturing & IT industries. • Head hunting through my professional network, internal database searches and LinkedIn.• Screening, interviewing and short-listing potential candidates. • Manage salary & starting date negotiations, consulting with candidates & clients when needed. • Business development, client management, client meeting and site visits.And RCS MANAGEMENT: Managing all RCS Delivery Operations, Product Development, Quality/Continuous Improvement, Client Management & Business Development. • Recruiting, training and leading a team of 4 full time RCS Associates.Achievements:• Consistently exceeded annual revenue threshold for both Recruitment and RCS.• Doubling revenue from RCS division in a 12 month period.• Saved a major client that had decided to stop working with Spider, generating over 100K EGP (Egyptian Pounds) in revenue for 2009.• Directly supervised, managed, trained and mentored several junior recruiters who came from non-recruitment backgrounds, most of whom continue to thrive in their respective recruitment careers today.
