As Product Developer/ Account Manager for Mirrored Apparel I am responsible for design/ development right through to costing, production, fit, QA and delivery.Mirrored Apparel is the design and support office for leading Chinese Manufacturer Shanghai C&K Garments.My greatest accomplishment is contributing to the success of our parent company becoming the second largest supplier to a major Australian retailer.Outline of responsibilities:- Analyse Fashion + Consumer trends to present to customers in order to maximise on sales.- Seasonal buying trips for all customers (varying over Junior and Contemporary brands).- Range trips and present to customers.- Develop initial designs and create tech packs for handover and costing.- CAD garments and create range boards on Adobe Illustrator.- Create mood/ trend boards suited to individual customers.- Manage and negotiate product costings in order to meet both customer and company margins.- Ensure appropriate fabrics and materials are sourced as well as manage all details and construction to meet price points.- Communicate daily with factories to execute development, approvals, follow production and maintain deliveries.
