Direct settlement is an ongoing challenge for insurance companies; thus cost containment is an ultimate goal by which I contributed in further optimizing Bupa Global's claim spend by: 5% UAE, 4% Egypt 8% Qatar, 3% Bahrain, 2% Lebanon respectively; contributing to the overall cost optimization strategy of the business.. Managing team members between Egypt, UAE & the UK; I led Egypt team to achieve an urgent need to increase Outpatient Direct Settlement in Egypt’s key providers as well as streamlining the network growth across the region.. Maintaining and nurturing the relationship with circa 4,000 healthcare providers across the MEA region, supporting them to resolve their key challenges.. As part of Bupa Global’s network expansion, strategic healthcare providers in the region were contracted, key ones being Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi; Al Safa Hospital, Watany Eye hospital, Seif Pharmacies, Cairo.. Egypt being the largest SME client base across Bupa Global and where we strive to enhance customer experience, a third Bupa Lounge was established in As-Salam International hospital, Cairo after Airforce Hospital & Dar Al Fouad Hospital.
