Screen patients for necessity of inpatient services, safety plan with patients if hospitalization isn't needed. Work with the courts on alternative treatment orders. Develop data bases for various aspects of the job such as keeping track of number of people screened and when court orders are due for renewal. Work with the hospitals to monitor while patients are admitted and assist with discharge planning. Work with other community mental health agencies to coordinate services primarily for foster kids who are placed in different counties. Train new employees in emergency service procedures.

Evaluate mental status of patients in individual and group settings. Facilitate group setting using DBT and CBT skills
