Joined the company at the start of a new VAT Accounting team within the European Finance Centre in Glasgow. Worked with the European VAT manager to implement VAT accounting processes. Worked in both Withholding Tax and Dividend claim teams prioritising workload in relation to risk.Responsible for submitting Withholding Tax reclaims and International Dividend fails for markets across Europe.Daily cash reconciliation on bank accounts for each market, allocating responsibility of funds.Implementing process improvements through the company’s capacity growth initiative project.Received an investment securities service recognition award for the turnaround and success rate of all tax reclaims.
