Karen is a specialist in HR with a focus on culture, human capital strategy and total rewards. She is responsible for providing advice related to business transformation, M&A, operations, talent and other strategic change initiatives.

Karen is a senior change management and culture consultant with a background in human resources. She is responsible for providing advice related to business transformation, M&A, operations, talent and other strategic change initiatives.

Over the years Karen has supported clients through the following activities: Karen began her Human Resource career in Mercer’s St. Louis office as a Health and Benefits consultant. In this role, Karen consulted with local and national clients on all aspects of employee benefit plan design, funding, and administration.  Karen moved into a client relationship management role in Mercer’s New York City office where she partnered with key Mercer accounts to ensure strategic alignment of Mercer’s services to her clients’ business needs.  Karen’s focus then shifted to key national and international client relationships in Chicago, Kansas City, and Omaha. Until recently, Karen was an active contributor to Mercer’s Human Capital practice with an emphasis on Total Rewards and Human Capital Strategy. Karen's current focus is on cultural integration within the context of Mergers and Acquisitions. Karen has achieved her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of Kansas and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
