Led a team of 30+ responsible for American Express’ flagship consumer loyalty programme, Membership Rewards, for the 20 largest markets outside the US, including program strategy, digital experience, financial liability management, partnerships, and overall program operations. Membership Rewards is one of the highest ranked benefits by customers within the credit card value proposition. Delivered marketing and product strategies to leverage this asset to drive customer engagement, Net-Promoter-Score (NPS), increased spending, and acquisition. Overhauled the mobile and online experience for Membership Rewards, a retail website with thousands of redemptions options from 1,300 partners, driving significant improvement in online usage. Drove initiatives to create an operationally robust programme with a more sustainable economic model. Additionally, provided loyalty consulting to retail bank partners that license Membership Rewards. Created and launched a scaleable white-label loyalty solution enabling retail banks to outsource their loyalty programme and gain competitive advantage in their market.
