Dental Assistant Floater (support services). Fill in where needed when assistants are out. Assist with 7 different General Dentist and when not needed I assist at the pediatric site where there are 3 attending doctors and 8 resident doctors. At all sites I take radiographs, assist with New Pt. Exams, EXTs, composite and amalgam fillings, Crown prep and crowns, space maintainers, SSC's for pediatric, impressions for dentures & space maintainers ect., Friday's are ortho days where I have assisted with pictures for ortho work. Also assisted with brackets being placed. Placed spacers on my own. I experienced sedation room, assited with papoosed child. Sterlize instruments in Autoclave. Apply infection control rules while cleaning, breaking down rooms and during procedures.
