Currently employed in the Australian Public Service, working in the imported cargo and container space. Interested in policy, data analyst and project officer roles.I am also a food science and human nutrition graduate with interests in public health, nutrition, science communication, quality assurance, food safety and microbiology. I am also passionate about food, wine and coffee and regularly attend festivals and events for tastings.I have produced a paper on the role of DHA as a functional food and as part of a research course, examined the impact of food insecurity on low SES Australian populations and designed a trial looking into the role of modified diets for patients with head and neck cancer. I also wrote a blog on mental health services in the Hunter region for a public health course.Working in client-focused environments such as biosecurity, retail, food service, call centres and public health has shaped my communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, problem-solving, organisational and time management skills.
