In January 2015, Karen Sheldon established Saltbush Mob, a new division of the Karen Sheldon Group, after the company was successful in securing the DoH contract to operate the Treatment and Aftercare Service of the Alcohol Mandatory Treatment centre in Darwin. Using the same holistic approach as the highly successful Karen Sheldon Training employment and mentoring programs, Saltbush Mob developed a Therapeutic Program, Case Management model and Aftercare Program that ensures outcome focused engagement. Saltbush Mob continues to achieve unprecedented, tangible outcomes as it provides a cost effective, results driven and sustainable solution to the Territory’s alcohol related harm issues.
