Karen is a trusted food, culinary and nutrition communications expert with experience speaking and writing for multimedia outlets including television, radio, magazines, newspapers and social media. She has produced more than 100 recipe instructional videos and has been featured in radio and television media more than 1000 times over the past two decades. Karen served as Executive Committee member and Supermarket Retail Subgroup Chair for the Food & Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics from June 2013 through May 2015. Significant contributions include planning educational webinars, contributing quarterly articles for publication in Tastings newsletter and co-authoring a 2-hour training module as part of the newly released 'Supermarket Business and Industry Skills to Thrive in Retail Dietetics: Online Certificate of Training Program'.
