As a Learning & Development Specialist, I am responsible for employee training, from new hire onboarding learning to developing advanced learning curricula. I also schedule and maintain a training calendar with technical and soft skill training courses. As a designer, I create online learning modules to meet organizational needs as they arise. In addition to the creation and maintenance of training classes and materials, I create reporting documentation to track a variety of learning-related metrics.

Training: LMS management, content design/development/implementation, create training paths and development programs, instruct Smith's Driving, coordinate training (ILT and online), manage employee certifications, design end-user environment for LMS, and manage learning records.Safety: Communications, metrics, incident review and file creation/management, act as resource for Safety Advocate Teams, publish quarterly safety training, track completions, ensure employees receive the pre-employment and continuing testing (hearing protection, respiratory protection, etc.) and assist in development of safety training.Human Resources: manage employee records (primarily learning), provide excellent customer service as a first point of contact for many employees, and assist elsewhere as needed.

Work with owner as a contract employee, assisting with completion of human resouces projects for outside organizations, under the direction of Jacqueline Rush. Assisted with resume review, phone screens, applicant interviews, employee exit interviews, creation and maintenance of forms (in Word, Excel, and Visio), and other human resource projects.

Assist adults with developmental and physical delays. Work in home environment, providing support services including self-care, behavior management and modification, household maintenance, and developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
